As a cake designer, I go through stages of obsession with certain mediums to decorate with. I’ve had dreams of falling apple blossoms with petals so thin the sun light shines through . I flew to Abu Dhabi to design that vision. For this grand cake for a Emirati wedding at Eastern Mangroves in Abu Dhabi with Julie and Romeo Weddings , I tailored a cake that had thousands of edible blossoms with soft blush sugar peonies and gold gilded branches to pair. It was absolute heaven designing this cake and see all the weeks of work and months of planning come together.
